Schwarz Logistik has extensive capacity for handling fresh food, cold and heated goods logistics, including a cold storage warehouse with a total space of approx. 6,000 m2 and several temperature-controlled vehicles with an adjustable inside temperature range between +28 and -30°C.

The number of products which need to be transported in a temperature-controlled state is rising increasingly. In addition to the pharmaceutics and cosmetics industries, this primarily affects fresh and frozen foods. To ensure that perishable and transport-sensitive goods are transported safely over long distances, a fully closed cold distribution chain from the producer to the consumer/ processor is essential. Logistics companies face the challenge of guaranteeing and reliably documenting this for each individual product.
